Loy Krathong at the Erawan Museum

Many places around Samut Prakan had celebrations for Loy Krathong on the night of the full moon in November. One of the most popular places to go was The Erawan Museum. Here they had a Miss Jumbo Beauty Contest as well as various shows and concerts. In addition, there was a walking street with old memorabilia that you could buy. People also came to float their krathongs and eat a meal. During the evening, the giant three-headed elephant was lit up which made a spectacular sight.
