Loy Krathong at City Hall Plaza

One of the most beautiful festivals of the year is Loy Krathong. On the evening of the full moon during November, this year on Monday 2nd November, people went to their local canals, rivers and lakes to float little krathongs for good luck. In the krathongs they put candles, incense sticks and usually a few coins. On the same day there was also concerts and beauty contests. In the above picture, Mr. Chana Nopsuan, the Deputy Governor of Samut Prakan, is seen here floating his Krathong at City Hall. In the pictures below, you can see some of the contestants in the Miss Nopamas Beauty Contest and also the City Mayor.
