Phra Samut Chedi at Night

The best time of year to visit Phra Samut Chedi in Samut Prakan is during the annual temple fair in October when people come to worship the Buddha relics in the chedi. At the end of a day long procession, a red cloth is wrapped around the chedi. During this time of year, the temple buildings are brightly lit up and many people come to enjoy themselves at the fair in the surrounding area.
